The agencies of the service
The 1 1 2 (one-one-two) service is operated by a number of agencies that work together to ensure an effective response to emergencies.
In addition to the Public Safety Answering Point , the agencies are the State Police, the Carabinieri, the Fire Brigade, the Coast Guard and the Health Service, which intervene depending on the type of emergency required.
