Epileptic seizure

In the event of a seizure, adopt the following safety procedures to minimize harm to the person having the seizure and to ensure their safety.

Do not try to open their mouth or make them swallow liquids.

Do not hold the person still while they are having a crisis.

Protect their head from any impact or trauma.

Make the person assume a side-lying position until consciousness is restored. This almost always occurs spontaneously, without external stimuli.
