Bullying
You are a victim of bullying when someone insults you, verbally abuses you in front of others, hits you, offends you, uses your belongings or toys, takes them for themselves, plays cruel pranks on you, or isolates you from your group of friends.
A bully behaves this way over a long period, often using aggression against kids who are usually shy, reserved, quiet, and do not complain or react to these acts of intimidation. You should not stay silent or face this alone, ask for help and talk to your parents, teachers, or trusted individuals about what is happening or has happened to you.
Cyberbullying
Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that occurs online, often through social networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), where cyberbullies post offensive messages and/or insults directed at one or more people. Often, the names of cyberbullies remain unknown—they act arrogantly, hide behind anonymity, and make fun of others without revealing their identity.
The goal of this behavior is to harm the victim and isolate them from any group by spreading lies about their appearance, clothing style, or way of speaking, making them seem different from who they really are.
Unfortunately, many people read cruel comments written online and they start believing that the victim is actually as described by the cyberbully.
