CAPTION

Procedures to be followed

If you are a witness to an assault on the street, try to adopt a behaviour that can help stop this act of violence, act carefully, without putting yourself in danger, and try to understand if the assault could degenerate.

Contact 1 1 2 (the single European emergency number) immediately and provide clear information about your location, a description of the people involved and the seriousness of the situation, following the advice below:

  • stay in constant telephone contact with the operator, updating them in real time on how the situation is evolving;
  • do not panic and try to keep a safe distance.
